The best result in his career was last year when he made it to the 39th place of the ATP list after wining a title in Kitzbühel. He won the youth Orange Bowl tournament in 2015 as one of the youngest winners in the history of this junior tournament held in Florida, and he finished 2016 as the top junior in the world. His first victory on tournament level was against Aleksandar Zverev, at the ATP Masters 1000 in Cincinnati in 2019.
