Đorđe Đoković: I hope this will become a beautiful tradition for both men’s and women’s tennis

Novak Đoković, world’s best tennis player, won Belgrade Open. This is his 23rd trophy, which he won in the final match against the Slovakian tennis player, Alex Molcan. The result was 2:0 (6:4, 6:3).

Đorđe Đoković, director of Belgrade Open, stated at the trophy awarding ceremony that he is proud that all the previously held tournaments ended in the best way possible, and that is with a win for Novak Djoković, the best tennis player of all time. He congratulated Alex Molcan on an incredible week, and said that Molcan is an extraordinary man and tennis player.  He also said that this is only the beginning for Molcan, and wished him all the best in the rest of the season.

Đorđe Đoković thanked all the people who were a part of the team organising the tournament, the sponsors, all volunteers, and a great number of people who contributed to the success of these events, and said that he hopes these tournaments will become a beautiful tradition for both men’s and women’s tennis.
