Krstin: I will continue to work hard

After his first victory on the ATP Tour in this career, domestic player Peđa Krstin did not manage to keep up with the same rhythm.

Unfortunately, he was defeated by Slovakian player Alex Molcan in the second round of Belgrade Open without winning a game.

“I don’t feel so good, but I gave it my all. I am happy to have made it into the second round, regardless of the result today. I hope that I will get through the second round next time. I will continue to work hard, this can only help me progress. The result is not important, I already forgot it,” said Krstin.

He also talked about how important tournaments like this one are for tennis players from Serbia.

“It’s very important for us to have tournaments like this, both for tennis fans and for the players. Thanks to tournament director Đorđe Đoković, as well as Novak, for giving me the opportunity to play. I am happy that I got a wild card, it’s i mportant for tennis in Serbia to have many tournaments in both categories, and I hope that this will continue in the coming years as well,“ conluded Krstin.
