Novak quest for the title continues on Friday
The Centre Court of the Novak Tennis Center will be the scene of the semi-final matches in the singles competition on Friday, as well as the fight for the doubles trophy.
World’s no. 1, Novak Đoković will face off against Slovakia’s Andrej Martin, ranked 119th on the ATP list, in the semi-finals. The two of them are expected to walk out onto the Centre Court around 2 pm.
After them, another Slovak player, Alex Molcan, will play against Argentina’s Federico Delbonis.
Of the players who will fight for the trophy at the Belgrade Open, it is interesting that Molcan has not lost a single serve so far (22/22), and the shortest match in the tournament was played by Đoković, whose quarterfinals lasted less than an hour.
The Belgrade Open will also get a doubles winner on Friday.
